Reading books in two or three languages
Choose one practice language for bilingual reading, or add a second translation to compare three languages. The source text stays in English. For authors such as Dostoevsky, that English source is itself a translation; the practice-language text is prepared from English, rather than taken from the author's original edition.
The catalog uses public-domain source texts. Translations are prepared with machine assistance and may contain errors. Treat them as reading support, and check important wording with a reliable dictionary or a fluent speaker.
